BARNS introduces the “High Neck Skipper Sweatshirt”, a standard model for fall and winter.
Based on the brand’s popular vintage crew neck sweatshirt, the neck is rearranged and accented with a coin concho button for a striking collar.
The tough, smooth sweatshirt fabric is knitted on a COZUN knitting machine, and the craftsman hand-worked the back of the fabric to create a piece that is comfortable even in the severe cold of midwinter.
In addition, the long-awaited large-size lineup, which could not be produced due to the limitations of the knitting machines, is now available. The wide range of sizes is also noteworthy.

Durable and Smooth Sweatshirt Fabric
Crafted from 100% cotton heavyweight fabric using a small-diameter knitting machine, this material combines softness with firmness and resilience. Its durability ensures it molds to your body with wear, offering long-lasting comfort.
The brushed inner layer provides warmth and a cozy feel, even in the coldest winters.
Distinctive Neckline Details
The high-neck skipper design features Apollo concho buttons from Button Works, crafted from genuine vintage coins. Each button offers a unique charm and enhances the overall design.
Flat seam stitching is used for the armholes, sleeves, and sides to eliminate irritation from seams, ensuring a stress-free wearing experience.
The torso features a tubular knit design, eliminating side seams for a smooth, itch-free fit against the skin.
*Note: XL and larger sizes feature side seams due to manufacturing constraints.
The cuffs are tailored to match the main fabric: natural and gray versions have matching cuffs, while black variants feature slightly contrasting tones for added character.
Versatile Silhouette
The silhouette balances relaxed comfort with a polished look, making it suitable for standalone wear, layering over a shirt, or as an inner layer. Its slightly loose fit maintains a neat appearance without feeling bulky.
From the Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, long-awaited larger sizes (XL–XXL) have been introduced. These sizes feature side seams, enabling production while offering trendy oversized styling options.
